INSTALLATION ENGINEER - SICILY

THE COMPANY
Our client is a leader in the design, manufacturing, installation and management of photovoltaic solar systems, an international group in strong growth and major actor of the solar energy sector having also photovoltaic modules production sites.
To accompany its development, we are searching for future collaborators for the position of
Installation engineer- Sicily.
THE ROLE
According to the development plan of the Italian subsidiary you are a key resource to manage and control the construction of PV projects of the group into Italian PV market.
Main responsibilities:
- On-site management and supervision of construction activities;
- Manage internal and external teams (sub-contractors) to insure the plant is built in conformance with the plans, specifications, schedule and budget
- Supervision of the planning and the execution of the construction aspects in connection with Purchasing, Logistic and Project management
- Deploy group policy in terms of Quality and Security and insure the respect during construction
- Manage the relationship and project reporting to the site owner
- Reporting to Technical and Project Director
THE PERSON
Experience:
- +5 years experience as Installation Engineer, ideally in the Solar PV or energy sector or telecommunications.
- University degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or Technical diploma
- Desirable: experience in large roof mounted PV plants.
- Proven track record in site management of large energy plants
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction site management
- Knowledge of Italian legislation for the construction and security
- Able to interact with people on all levels and able to adapt to a wide range of tasks and situations
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Project Management and reporting
- Team management with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Fluent English or French
Specific capacities: target driven, motivated, flexible, autonomous, serious
